ELLA: A sensational show about the life and music of one of the jazz greats, ELLA FITZGERALD.

A swinging insight into the life and music of Ella Fitzgerald, the internationally acclaimed American singer, Sandi Russell created this show and performs all the parts, from Ella herself to Duke Ellington and Frank Sinatra, with archive images and her trio. Expect to be entertained!

Ella Fitzgerald is world renown, but her life remains a mystery to many. Harlem-born Sandi Russell first learned of Ella through her parents, who met at the famed Savoy Ballroom, where Ella was singing. When Sandi heard Ella in person, Ella's voice and presence were a revelation - she inspired Sandi to become a jazz singer.

'Ella' has been performed at: Alnwick Playhouse, Harlow Theatre, Bishop Auckland Town Hall, Stratford Circus, London, Hemel Hempstead Old Town Hall and Rich Mix, London.
